In 2020, the project for the fomentation and promotion of the music industry in the Colombian Pacific was created. This project led by the Fundación Yuri Buenaventura, Fundación Barco y INNPULSA COLOMBIA; produced, structured, and promoted the 20 best music projects in the region. LAGUARDIA ESTUDIO LEGAL contributed with the design, direction, and implementation of the legal strategy of safeguarding and management of the intangible assets of each production.

In 2020, the Colombian Legaltech Association was formed, the first Colombian association dedicated to promoting the emerging ecosystem that links IT and the legal sector. LAGUARIA ESTUDIO LEGAL is an active member of the association’s initiatives.

During 2020 LAGUARDIA ESTUDIO LEGAL participated in the business acceleration program: ACELERA REGION. Among more than 1600 applicants the company managed to be one of the 90 finalists nationwide and was listed as a company with High growth potential.

The IT Entrepreneurship Model (METI) of Colombia was a process led by the Parquesoft Colombia Association in alliance with Colciencias and the ICT Ministry, through which the transfer of the ICT entrepreneurship model was started for 14 support institutions and more than 80 technological development enterprises from all over the country. In this project LAGUARDIA ESTUDIO LEGAL designed, modeled and directed the legal strategy of intellectual property transfer and we accompany each of the participating enterprises.

Strength through unity, after an independent consolidation process, the leaders of SMC (ICT Law) – Solarte Consultores (Corporate Law) – heading (Intellectual Property) found greater value working together in the same direction joining efforts for a large joint project.

Durante el año 2017 LAGUARDIA ESTUDIO LEGAL fungió como agente de recaudo para la organización SAYCO – ACINPRO frente a la normalización de las obligaciones derivadas del derecho de autor de los establecimientos de comercio de la región sur occidente.
